Here's a few of the ads which really get me that I really really have to switch over to another channel (I don't really like to change channels when I'm watching a program in case I miss something)
- Bru Cappuchino / Bru Cold Coffee: Am I supposed to like those ladies with froth on their lips? Do they really think that will sell? Or may be they think that moustache on girls will be in fashion!!!
- Foster (The one with Belly Dance): It starts off with "How to speak Australian?" And then they showed audience in a stadium shouting "Ogi Ogi Ogi Oye oye oye"; which is as Welsh as you'll ever get. I do wish the ad exec will do their research properly. May be they think noone will know.
- McDonald's (with the guy as steward): That guy with all the nose ring and his Coke Addict face is supposed to make me want to eat at McDonald's???? Seriously??? I don't think so. Seriously.
- Dish TV (with all the family): "Iske lagala toh life jinga la la" OK I really don't know what bugs me with this one, except that I can't stand it.
- Matrix (with the loo): "You are pissing away precious money" with the background noise of someone pissing??? Need I say more?
- Matrix (all those featuring the same fat guy): What do they really see in that guy? His face was enough to make me switch channels not to mention his speaking and acting.
- All the Liqour ads using CDs or Bottled water or Holiday as the front: OK so you are not allowed to advertise...so why do it?
I could go on and on......
And what about Shah Rukh Khan in every second ad? I can't keep up with what he's advertising at all.
Saying that, there are quite a few tasteful ads around...but for me nothing beats the good old days and the likes of Red Cow and Washing Powder Nirma.

I love the Aussie ogi ogi ogi ad. Very catchy :-) Don't like the other Foster ad though, the Australian sms thingie. thats crap.
And oh, I don't like that BSNL broadband ad too. The one where Mahima (is it Mahima?) says she will not marry him because he didn't have broadband connection. Neither do I like those other BSNL ads with Kajol.
Hehe I miss Red Cow. Remember Ecko pens? "Amara chungnung eckono, shabana chungnung eckono... " :-D
I remember the Washing Powder Nirma ad too. There was a rumor that that little girl in that ad had died... I'm still wondering...
I love the airtel ad, the one with two boys finding a way to play football together.
